In a significant move that could reshape the psychedelic landscape in Canada, PsyCan, a leading non-profit association representing psychedelic medicinal and therapeutic businesses, has released a comprehensive white paper.

B.C.-based company, Optimi Health has harvested its first cultivation of psilocybin mushrooms at its Health Canada-licensed facilities in Princeton, B.C., positioning itself as a major player in the burgeoning psychedelic sector. According to Optimi's head cultivator, Todd Henderson, The $14-million venture consists of two 10,000-square-feet facilities with a combined total of 10 growing rooms that can produce approximately 2,000 kilograms of dried psilocybin mushrooms a month.

40 kilograms of “Magic” Psilocybin Mushrooms will be dried and shipped to Mydecine’s Canadian Current Good Manufacturing Practice facility, which has a Health Canada Schedule 1 Dealer’s License attached to it, allowing for legal import/export, research and development, cultivation, and commercial sale of active psychedelic medicinal compounds.
