Investors are supporting the psychedelic industry with millions being donated to the Capstone Campaign, a psychedelic research fundraising campaign.

Mental health is at an all-time low as major life-changing events have affected people around the world. Psychedelics are proving to be a game-changer for mental health patients as breakthrough therapy treatments and reports of clinical trials are showing tremendously beneficial and long-lasting results. This is led to an interest among investors in the creation of the Capstone Campaign is a non-profit fundraising effort to fund the final research required to seek FDA approval of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy. The campaign provides funds needed for M.A.P.S., the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, to complete phase 3 clinical trials in the US, Canada, and Israel. Tim Ferris kicked off the Capstone Investment Campaign Challenge and raised over $10 million. To date, the fundraising campaign has attracted over 2,500 individual contributors that have donated a total of $30 million to the fund. Many of the major contributors are entrepreneurs in the health industry, non-profits supporting veterans, or have had someone close to them that has benefited from the use of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. Contributors to the campaign include the founder of Go Daddy, Bob Parsons, and his wife who generously donated 2 million to the campaign. Psychedelic investments are becoming a popular trend among venture capitalists and investors looking to Cash in on the hope that psychedelics will be a game-changer and savior for the mental health industry.

George Sarlo of Walden Venture Capital donated 1 million. The founder of Toms Shoes, Blake Mycoskie donated 1million. Creator of the RX Bar, Peter Kahal donated 1 million. James Bailey from Bail Capital donated 1 million. John Gilmore from the Electronic Frontier Foundation donated 1 million. Antonio Gracias from Valor Equity Partners donated 1 million. Steve & Genevieve Jurvetson from Future Venture & Fetcher donated 1 million and Joby Pritzker from Tao Capital Management donate 1 million.
